Please read the information on this page carefully to understand our corporate sponsorship guidelines and how we are helping communities across our cooperative territory.

FreeState Electric Cooperative (FEC) is community-focused. Each year we provide donations that are dispersed to organizations in the service territory. FEC provides more than reliable electricity to the communities we serve. We make the communities a better place to live and work. Cooperative sponsorships support a wide range of activities and programs that encourage community growth and development.

Giving back to the organizations that help keep our communities strong and growing is important to us. Community growth and sustainability are vital to our corporate mission. Without charitable programs and non-profit services, the communities where our members live and work would not thrive as they do. We know that financial contributions are important to helping service organizations grow and function efficiently.

Financial support may be considered for:

  • Non-profit organizations located within a geographic area that FEC serves or the immediate vicinity surrounding the service territory
  • Non-profit organizations in which our customer-owners are participants
  • Non-profit organizations that focus on education, environment, culture and the arts, civic and community development, and health and human services
  • School district activities within the FEC service territory

Financial support is NOT available to:

  • Individuals
  • Religious programs of churches or other sectarian organizations. (Food pantries, non-profit support excluded)
  • Political advocacy or labor organizations
  • Organizations that limit membership and services based on race, religion, color, creed, sex, age, or national origin

CoBank Sharing Success

The employees of FreeState Electric Cooperative are challenged annually by the Board of Trustees to participate in the annual CoBank “Sharing Success” program. If your non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization would like to be considered a Sharing Success designated charitable organization, please complete the form below and submit. The Board of Trustees will review and designate at least one, but not more than three, charitable organizations to benefit from the program.

Available Forms:

Form A - Requesting less than $100

Form B - Requesting $101 to $500
